Unit 2: Model trains and other toys (questions too)

Good afternoon!

Here you can find the text we read in class today. Don't forget to study the new vocabulary and ask you parents about model trains!.

Also, when you are done reviewing the text, you can review the questions we did in class too. They are below the text.

Do you like toys?. Sure you have played with cars, planes or trains but, do your parents play with them too?. There are a lot of adults that love toy vehicles: they call these toys "models".

For example, model train fans make very complicated circuits, with mountains, tunnels, lights and trees. There are even make little stations, with train platforms and passengers. When train fans meet they share their models.

But there is more. There are plane fans that meet on the weekends to fly their planes. They do acrobatics and take pictures of their planes standing next to others on the ground. It is much cheaper than flying in real planes and often more eco-friendly!.

There are boat fans too: you can find them in ponds and small lakes. They sail their models and race. The smaller boats are faster and the big ones stay behind but everyone is happy when they arrive at the goal. Are there underground fans?. I have never met one but sure there are!.
