Unit -7 Mark and Julie messsage

Unit 7 - Grantchester and exercises

p>Good afternoon! Did you enjoy the Andalusia's day party? I sure did. Do you know what else I enjoyed? Of course, getting to know more about Grantchester! Here is the text and the exercises we did today. This is our town Grantchester, in Cambridgeshire, England. That line crossing it from top to bottom is river Cam. Our school is the big building on the bottom right. This is our swimming pool!. Because we live in Grantchester we can go and swim anytime, for free!. Some of us are in the junior waterpolo team. We do a barrel race every Boxing Day!. It is very fun but you can get soaked: be sure to wear water-proof clothes!. This is Grantchester meadows!. Good afternoon! I had a lot of fun with our direction games today!. I also learned where the town pool is. Anyway, I know we are celebrating Andalusia's day this Friday but I wanted you to remember the notes we did today in class. Also, do you want to play one more game? Unit 7 - A different school Listening

Good afternoon! As busy as we are with the preparations for the day of Andalusia we have to keep up with our friends from Grantchester! Today we watched some pictures and listened to descriptions. I want you to read it too, so you can study the new vocabulary! This is our classroom. We are 20 students of the 6th grade. This is us. As you can see, we wear uniforms. Our school is called Hillbrook school. This is our school's badge!. It is a lion, like Griffindor, very cool!. This is our classroom's mascot. Its name is Henry, like a King of England!. We go into school at quarter to eight. Our school is very large. This is our hallway in the first floor. This is our timetable for this year. We have three breaks. Unit 6 - Your presentations.

Good afternoon! You guessed it today: space is one of my favourite topics :)!. I enjoyed very much listening to your ideas and reading your articles. Some can be crazier than others but all are very good!. The space sports you invented are very fun and the space hospitals seems like a very good idea (very silent and quiet!). However, there is one that I like better than the rest simply because it deals with a very important problem. One group created the "space factory" so all contamination is far from Earth. We don't know if your ideas are possible but I am very happy you came up with them. The world needs ideas!.

Unit 6 - Earth Valentine

Good afternoon! First off, good job in the treasure hunt!. Without your help, Tim wouldn't have been able to find the seeds to give them to the children!. Also, the winning E-Valentine card is here. Congratulations!!! Did you like the pictures our E-Twinning friends sent us?. The pictures of the stars were taken with a computer software called Stellarium. It is a bit difficult but you can check it here . The others are from Google Earth, that one we already know. Does anyone want to take some pictures of our stars and our town to send to them?.

Good afternoon! I enjoyed learning about what you want to do when you grow up. To be honest, I am a bit dissapointed that there weren't any astronauts in the classroom but there are doctors and that's allright. Anyway, here are the questions for today. Good afternoon! First of all, here is the video of the space lesson by Tim Peake!. Wouldn't it be great to have a cosmic classroom here too? Second, here is the text we read today with the questions and answers . Below you can also read the text and solution for the listening exercise. Tim Peake is the first British astronaut to live in the Inernational Space Station which is 400km above the Earth. To get there he had to take the hardest training he has ever done, but it was worth it!. He there for six months and he carried out 30 experiments.
